Harrison Ward made a significant contribution with his 27 off 18 balls. Coles made an undefeated 27 runs and was recognized as the Player of the Match for his exceptional bowling.

Bas de Leede had struck the ball into the covers, where Will Jacks made an impressive dive to stop it. He quickly threw the ball to Burns, who fumbled the catch, allowing Michael Jones to survive a potential run-out after a minor mix-up while running between the wickets.
Despite Durham posting a competitive 162/8, Surrey approached the chase with composure. Dominic Sibley led the charge with a match-winning knock of 67 runs from 48 balls, including six fours and two sixes. Sam Curran played a crucial supporting role, smashing 52 off 34 balls, hitting four sixes and two boundaries. Their performances ensured Surrey’s progression to the semi-finals. Sibley’s contribution earned him the Player of the Match award, highlighting his crucial role in Surrey’s victory.
