South Africa and England are in Group B with the 2016 champions West Indies, host nation Bangladesh, and Scotland.

Sri Lanka and Scotland emerged as the two teams to qualify for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier tournament. Both teams secured their spots in the Bangladesh event scheduled for October. Following the final conclusion of the qualifier, they were subsequently placed into their respective groups.

Each team will play four group-stage matches in the tournament. The top two teams from each group will advance to the intense semi-finals, scheduled for October 17 and 18. The final will take place in Dhaka on October 20.

The tournament will feature 23 matches over 19 days in Dhaka and Sylhet. Reserve days are set aside for the semi-finals and the final if necessary.
