Naqvi has introduced several officials from the Punjab government to the PCB, assigning them various roles and responsibilities.

Irtaza Komail from the police service has been appointed Chief Security Officer, responsible for traveling with the national cricket team on international tours. Furthermore, Salman Naseer will soon be named head of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

There is speculation that upcoming constitutional changes might allow the appointment of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) and other key positions, which could significantly alter the board’s structure and operations.
