Venkatesh Iyer then took charge, hitting two sixes and a four in the second over and continuing his aggressive performance throughout the innings. KKR reached fifty in less than five overs and accelerated past the 100-run mark within nine overs.
Gurbaz was dismissed for 39, but Iyer’s aggressive batting ensured KKR maintained their momentum. Iyer completed his half-century in just 24 balls and scored the winning runs, prompting a jubilant celebration from the KKR squad.
