Sri Lanka Cricket recently announced a solid 16-member T20I squad for the much-anticipated series against Afghanistan, set to commence later this week. However, the squad will be without the services of injured seamer Dushmantha Chameera, who suffered a quadriceps injury during the recent ODI series against Afghanistan.

Chameera’s absence has led to Binura Fernando being named his replacement for the T20I series.
