While Litchfield has demonstrated her prowess in limited T20I opportunities and proven her mettle in Test cricket, she has flourished in the ODI format. Litchfield’s ODI career took off with a Player of the Match performance in her debut against Pakistan in Brisbane, where she scored an unbeaten 78. She followed this up with another Player of the Match award-winning performance, scoring an unbeaten 67 against the same opponents.
Litchfield soon rediscovered her form in Ireland despite a brief lull during the Women’s Ashes, during which she managed just 39 runs in three innings. Litchfield’s exceptional performance was further cemented as she claimed her third Player of the Match award, courtesy of an impeccable unbeaten 106 against the host nation. It propelled Australia to a commanding 10-wicket victory. Phoebe Litchfield has become an essential Australian women’s cricket team member, especially in One-Day International (ODI) matches. She has played well against many teams, including Pakistan, Ireland, West Indies, and India.
Australia had to score 283 runs to win a match against India. They were in trouble when Alyssa Healy got out for zero. Still, Litchfield scored 78 runs with Ellyse Perry, which helped Australia win. In that game, Litchfield hit eight 4s and one 6 and was named the Player of the Match.
During the Australia tour of India, Litchfield continued to play very well and won the Player of the Series award. Her excellent performances show that she has a bright future in cricket.

Litchfield’s outstanding performances have resulted in an impressive average of over 60 in the ODI format, amassing 604 runs from just 14 matches. Her brilliant start to 2024, marked by a stellar century, is a testament to her growing prowess and potential in cricket.
