Fixtures Unveiled for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in USA and West Indies.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the highly-anticipated fixtures for the 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup, which will be held across the United States and the West Indies. Cricket fans and experts are gearing up for this global sporting extravaganza, as the confirmed lineup promises thrilling matches and intense competition among the world’s top cricketing nations.
Three venues in the USA and six in the Caribbean will host the 29-day tournament on June 1, with co-hosts USA facing neighbors Canada. The following day, fellow hosts West Indies will play Papua New Guinea in Guyana. Among the 20 participating teams, 10 will play their first matches in the USA, with 16 contests in Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York. The highly-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled for the new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Long Island on June 9.
Forty-one matches will be played in the Caribbean across six islands, with semi-finals in Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana. The title decider is set to take place in Barbados on June 29. The intensity will only increase as the tournament progresses, culminating in the highly anticipated final on June 29, where the world’s best T20 cricket team will be crowned.
