Shortlists for nine ICC Awards 2023 categories will be unveiled between 3 and 5 January. A specialist panel of cricket writers and broadcasters selected the nominees based on their on-field performances and overall achievements in international cricket throughout the past calendar year.

Fan voting results will be combined with selections made by the ICC Voting Academy to determine the winner in each shortlisted category.

Additional categories to be celebrated in the ICC Awards 2023 include the ICC Men’s and Women’s Associate Cricketers of the Year, the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award, and the ICC Umpire of the Year, making 13 awards.

Moreover, the ICC Voting Academy will select five ICC Teams of the Year for 2023, honoring the top XIs in men’s and women’s international cricket.

Winners of the ICC Awards 2023 will be announced later in January 2024.
